Instructor: John Kerrigan with Reliable Home Inspection Service
Objective: To educate students on how to manage all aspects of the Home Inspection process as it applies to Older Homes (100 years +) and understanding the intricacies and challengers that come with inspecting and for their buyer owning an older home. The class will look at how building materials, techniques and systems have changed over the last 100 years and how that effects buying and selling these homes as well as upkeep.
CE is offered FREE to KCAR Members.
Classes are limited to 25 participants. A fee of $35 will be assessed to any member that is a "No Show" to the class. All cancellations must be received a minimum of 24 hours in advance to avoid the "No Show" fee, so we may fill your vacancy with a member on the Wait List.
Non-Members may register and attend for a $35 fee, payable at the time of registration.

ELECTRONICS POLICY • Cell phones shall be turned off or placed on vibrate. If your phone is on vibrate, do not place on the table, as the noise may disrupt the class should it go off. • There will be no texting or emailing on cell phones during instruction time. • Electronic devices are not permitted to be used during class unless otherwise instructed.
ADDITIONAL RULES • Side conversations are not permitted during instruction. • You are required to attend 50 out of 60 minutes per each hour of the class. If you leave the class during instruction, without prior consent from the monitor, you may be denied re-admittance.
VIOLATIONS OF ANY OF THE ABOVE WILL BE ISSUED ONE (1) WARNING. A SECOND VIOLATION OF ANY OF THE ABOVE WILL RESULT IN YOU BEING ASKED TO LEAVE.
Per DREC, late arrivals WILL NOT be allowed in the class. Please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early.
